20 gauge wire good to solder jtag?

Hi guys
Im looking for a wire that is strong but bendable that i can solder into the holes to jtag xbox 360, is 20Gauge good for that or what wire should I buy? im planing to solder it in and after i read the nand ill take it off and whats a good wire to solder with the resistors? i saw a very thin blue wire but idk what is called.

Ive used 20Gauge with no problems.

 

Nice ty and what do you use for the little resistors?

 

I just solder them directly to the db25 plug and then to the wire, I then cover with heat shrink tubing to keep in place.
