2000 Dell Latitude Cpi

    okay i have dell latitude cpi and no battery
    for it . the plug in will not work either
    do i have to have a battery to make the wall plug in work
    or is there something else up ??

    does the laptop have a single cable that plugs into it or a power adapter?
