    it's gotta be their machine then...I kprobe every disc I burn, and have had NO problems with it whatsoever, on two different machines.

    i got ver 2.4.3 of KProbe2 and my machine is super stable, but you're right, it's probably just me!.

    my kprobe works very well too~ it's just you creaky~ j/k :) have a good one buddy

    no no no, I said your MACHINE.
    Are you LOOKING at the scan results as it's running? This can often times make a machine very nervous and prone to error...

    But seriously, I don't know what to tell ya then.

    i wasn't getting as far as it doing anything. It'd scan a disc and report on it's media code etc, but that's all. It crashed every which way all it's own whichever thing i clicked on. I'm sure it's good for others but it don't like my machine.

    edit-just tried it and it's scanning a disc now. Maybe i put in a blank disc before and it couldn't cope with it. I'll try another blank afterwards and see what happens..

    edit2- tried 2 burnt discs and it's not crashed. tried a blank disc and it was ok. tried to interrogate my drive - it crashed. ah well, i'll figure it out. At least i have some PI/PIF scans to look into, to guage my burns a bit better
