So which version are you getting? The stripped down 299 version or the 399 version which comes with the HD and about 240 dollars worth of peripherals. I don't even consider the basic one an Xbox because i have a GC for it's Nintendo only games and creativity, a PS2 for it's huge library, and an Xbox for Xbox live. I can garauntee that nearly everyone who buys teh 299 will spend an extra 100 for the HD by the year's end.
i dont really respomd to these kinda post considering i didnt somthn simular telling the priceing but yes ill be getting the best deal which is the $399 and when it hit's $199 in about 2 years or so ill take it back to best buy for a great voucher for 400$ xD cause i know itl be doing somthn its not suppose to like loading slower and frezzes ever console does that tho haha
ok best buy has 2 year warranty's you can buy for console's that cost's a extra $20-$30 if you send it back before the warranty is up they will give you a voucher for the amount you paid for it <even if the xbox 360 price droped ud still get the full amount but in best buy bucks> for example if i bought my xbox 360 on lauch for $399 and got the warranty with it for 20$ or $30 more and i take the xbox 360 back before the 2 years is up they refund the ENTITIRE amount but as a best buy gift card to buy anything in the store <you dont have to buy another xbox 360 if you dont want> and if the price is let's say $199 now you could buy 2 of them sence you get $399 best buy card back <trust me ive did this with my 300$ ps2 <it broke> and they gave me the entire amount its the best way to get a console sence they are all made like crap nowaday's
But what if your console isn't broken will they still take it back? cause none of my consoles have ever broken and I always buy em when they first come out. And if you purposefully break yours will BB know? Do they check? I mean it's suppose to be no questions asked right? Also do they have 3 yr warrenties? That woul dmake more sense right?
even if its not working say it keeps freezing on all ur games they dont check it as long as its not takin apart they will take it say the tray gets stuck or somthn i dot it all the time whn i fry my xbox lol
i gonna wait until december 2006 and buy it when the price goes down or after the ps3 comes out.im not a conman like somepeople.i will have the money through hardwork or pension payments
