3.02 OE-A Easy Installer for 1.5 users

Anyone else use this? Is it ok? I don't want to dl a dud and brick after having the near heart attack experience of downgrading my TA-082 2.71...

 

I also would like to know if there is an UBER N00b guide to upgrading from 1.5 to 3.02 OE-A and then to OE-B

what files do i need and what exact steps should i do?

 

first of all are you both on 1.50 and are you TA-082?

i used it to upgrade to OE-B and all is going well

I'm sorry, yes I am on a TA-082 running 7.10 and i succesfully downgraded to 1.50 thanks to the wonderful guides here.

Where should i go from this point?

Is it normal for the install to hang up at 37% and if so how long should i expect it to be at 37%?

 

ok nevermind my 37% post, it just got done, the next step is "run the flasher"

how do i "run the flasher"? where is it located?

 

ok after much MUCH reading and research i've managed to make it to 3.02 OE-A but when i run the OE-B under "Game" it comes back and says "the game could no be started"

i copied the OEB_UPDATE folder to the /PSP/GAME

I am a TA_082 version 7.1 downgraded to 1.5 and then upgraded to OE-A

what am i doing wrong?

 

1. I do not have a TA-082 PSP. Is this a problem. There is no text written on my PSP inside the UMD door. Can I still go from Firmware 1.5 to 3.02 OE-A and then to OE-B?

2. Also, if I upgrade, what are my chances of bricking my PSP (more than when I downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5 or the same?)

3. If I upgrade, will it have any effect on the .iso files I have now? Like will any of them become unplayable?

4. Does the installer for this upgrade include devhook? If so, what version?

I'm on a pretty strict time schedule since I'm moving soon and won't have internet access as often as I do now, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
