3.03 OE-C

Ops!!Sry doubled post...

 

Here's my question, I downgraded mine from 2.7 after having devhook for a while and then I upgraded all of the way up the ladder to 3.03 OE-C, and I love (God Bless Dark-Alex) however, my roomate has 2.82. Now, I know he can upgrade to 3.03 and downgrade to 1.5 to get all of the way to where I am, but can he just upgrade to 3.03 and then to Dark-Alex's open edition 3.03? I'm assuming he has to downgrade first to 1.5, and I'm probably right, I just didn't want to risk anything.

 

No, if you could go from 3.03 to 3.03oe-c then there would be no need for a downgrader or stupid questions. You have to downgrade there is no getting around it.

 

Uggg as my buddy preaches, "no risk, no reward." Nobody likes to flash their psp and risk a brick, but guess what, we have. If your scared about bricking your psp then by all means enjoy your current firmware and don't stress flashing. Either do it or don't, none of us "wanted to risk it" but we did, and now are having fun

 

once i upgrade to 3.03oec, then can i play the old games like ridge racer, virtua tennis and like that, or will i be able to play only the latest games. this 3.03oec which change my psp firmware permanently? Also how do i play my iso on this new version? will it support 4GB memory stick? Please help... i m confused

 

The features state that the CPU speed of XMB can be changed; can someone please tell me HOW???

 

coldboot ur psp and press r as soon as u turn it back on. its in the configuration menu.

 

It starts as normal.

P.S. what do you mean by coldboot?

well leon589 as long as i think u r in 1.5 right!!!u can do wat hexitnow said after upgrading to custom firewares like 3.03OE-C !!! or else u cant just change ur cpu speed of xmb in 1.5!!(as long as i know)!!!u better upgrade to 3.03OE-C to get the best out of ur psp!!!

 

hey guys anyone knows hot to change coldboot, icon's text the opening boot i mean s...c...e... thing on a 3.03 oe-c manually via usb flash0? i manage to change the icons but the rest i dont know wer to place the replacement.

about the gameboot when i try to change it its says drive is full i think because i have 6xx kb gameboot how can i make memory space big to make my gameboot fit shall i delete something? but what shall i delete.

I need help. I swear I have read the read me, but I really dunno where to find the 1.50 EBOOT and 3.03 EBOOT to rename them and put them in the respective file. Can someone tell me where to find these 2 files.

I've got 3.03 OE-C installed on my TA-082..It worked..But, I realise I have lots of problems playing ISO direct from mem stick. Copied them into the ISO folder, showed up when browse but just hang when loading..

Tried Registry - Kernel 1.50, Disabled UMD Loader, all dun work..

Anyone can help ??

try the game with a umd in the drive!!!if u tried it already then try goin back to 1.5 and again reintalling the 3.03OE-C

Is it true there is no need for Dev Hook for 3.03 OE-C? Or can I actually use it to try loading the ISOs?

 

U can use devhook to load ISO's but it's not needed considering you can load them from XMB.

 

Funny, but I tot 3.03 OE-C is downward compatible, ie it shld be able to play ALL sorts of ISOs avaiable right now..

I loaded BLEACH 2 (Iso) from Mem stick, it showed the 'Now Loading' Screen and kaput!! Went still...not blackout..got to power off and restart..same for many other ISOs..

Some even showed 'Unable to load Game (Error 800XXXXX142)' something like that...(will try to get the exact message)...

Seems like 3.03 OE-C still has some bugs....I'm not complaining but I think DA has done a fabulous job...seriously...

 

its a here and there type of thing......i have not had one single problem with any of my iso's and I have over ..... well I have enough

I'm right now over in the Land of the Far East...they have got like 485 ISOs in 35 DVDs going for like USD18...

I guess its pretty much expected like one or two can't load...I can't be choosy, can I??

 

Well if it's only or two there's a good chance it could of been a bad rip.
