3.41 cfw vs 3.55 cfw. Suggestions?

    I am running 3.41 ofw with ps3key. I am thinking of installing a cfw. Should I use a 3.41cfw or update to 3.55 and use 3.55cfw. Which cfw is the best according to your opinion?

    Dont think there is any real point in staying on 3.41 except that cheat dongle.

    With cfw3.55 at lesat you can play some of the newer games.

    when and if you update to 3.55 any games that you changed eboots on will have to be replaced with the originals

    was on kmeaw cfw works like a treat, upgraded to rebug 3.55cfw, just remember install the 3.55ofw first then your choice of cfw kmeaw seems to be the best in my opinion never bricked once, and i think multiman automatically edits the 3.41 eboots because all of mine worked without changing them :)

    oh and best to install the cfw via recovery method.

    Best thing, but there is also a chance of your ps3 to be getting bricked if you updgrade from 3.55cfw to the latest firmware ;)

    I am on official 3.41 firmware. I never bought a dongle and have yet to jailbreak. As long as I'm playing games pre-3.41, what is the difference between me installing 3.41 CFW or 3.55 CFW?

    there is more homebrew for 3.41 cfw; i too sticked to 3.41 fw. who knows what the future will bring. for all post-3.41 games there are ways to patch it so that it runs on 3.41cfw. so gamecompatibility wise, there is no difference. although 3.41 patching requires more work, 3.55 or below games just run immediately without any patching on 3.55 cfw. i had more luck with the 3.41hermes fw to run games, than on the 3.55kmeaw. some games didn't run om 3.55kmeaw, that did run on 3.41 (i only run discless; with discs almost all games work on either cfw).
