Im goin nuts, ive tried gordian knot, i bought both full versions of DVDzip 2.9, and dvd to avi.... dvd to avi has a copy error when it gets to 99%, dvd zip does a complete rip, but the quality is horrible, and gordian knot, which alot of people seem to like... for some reason it filled my 160 gig hdd on the first rip and was unable to complete... any help would be most appreciated

Try AutoGK. Easier to use than the regular version, therefor I guess less that can go wrong.

Doesn't sound like you ripped in IFO mode, which I believe is a requirement.

You need to learn how to use GordianKnot.
    There is good info here:
    http://www.doom9.org/gknot-main3.htm
    and here:
    http://www.doom9.org/xvid-guides.htm
Seems as if maybe you were not compressing the video output...
    But don't despair. Read - Learn :^)
I use GKnot with the XviD codec. It's not too hard once you figure it out - you'll get the hang of it in no time, don't worry.
