I have a few questions about akohols guide, nero 7, eztv uner card and some movie files. I have a P3 751mhz PC at 256 sd-ram 1.I was looking at akohols guide from avi to DVD. and had question, if I were to make 3 DVD iso's would nero burning rom be able to handle it correctly including some vob might have the same file names ( .vob at 2.90GB or whatever it might be) sometimes some movie files that are converted and will come out with the same name which nero burning rom can't put the same .vob file on the DVD without a major problem occuring...... 2.With my system and nero 7.5.9.0 whats the shortest amount of video files I can put on a dvd or dvd iso and not have nero vision take up to 14 hrs for 9 or 10 video files that are avi or mpeg thats under 189-300mb ? 3. My TV-Tuner card can encode directly to mpeg 1,2, and DVD vob files. however when I record in .vob the video playing in intervideo becomes choppy, but when it records in mpeg 1 or 2 and the system is very quiet and defragmented the files are perfect! is their a problem on my end or is the program the problem itself ? Also I know I need to get a better system but I am under a very tight budget right now and I am currectly looking for work if I could find a decent p4 celeron motherboard with onboard video that would post then I could go ahead and use my 2.40 celeron processor I bought just last summer.
i would suggest you PM Alkohol directly and get his help that way as most of the senior members dont visit the section of threads without replies, hence the reason your question hasnt been answered
@Zeiran This is a NO NO, you can possibly PM him and ask if he can check out this thread, any replies would have to be in this thread.
MadMikeXP alternatively you could always get a Gigabyte 915P Duo board .You can upgrade to a 3.2 gig chip at the least.Pretty inexpensive really @ gwendolin always the way these days lass zei
@MadmikeXP I bought one of these motherboards with a Celeron 2.0 processor for my daughter, runs great, it can be overclocked, However, if you are running a PIII, you'll need different memory, different power supply (most PIII supplies don't have the 12V 4 pin connector) http://www.surpluscomputers.com/store/main.aspx?p=ItemDetail&item=MBB10567 However, if you look at www.newegg.com for something like this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856110031 or a similar online site I'm sure that you can find a barebones system to fit your needs. What is going to cost you is the fact that jumping to P-IV specs means you need different memory, power supply, and motherboard. You are almost better off buying a whole new system and incorporating some components from your old system, Hard drive, DVD burners, etc into the new system. I hope that this gets you started, just remember there are other forums here about scratch building PCs with much more information and expertise than I could post here, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/426825 A very good start to get you going. I hope that this helps.
