Ok, so I'm getting a 360 on Christmas, but I have 3 Q's. 1. I'm getting my bundle at Gamestop, so should I get the Halo 3 360 one, or the regular Elite? 2. Is the Orange Box worth it for 360 (Like is there splitscreen Co-op/DM/any multiplayer on HL2/etc.?), or should I just get it for PC instead? 3. Can someone recommend a few games/accessories worth picking up?
1.Go for the Elite 2.I dont like the orange box so go for which ever one 3.GoW,Halo3,Mass Effect,CoD4,Oblivion,PGR4,Bioshock,assassins creed,Jericho, man theirs so many more.As for the accessories i'll go with the WiFi adapter(search online got mine for $57),and an extra control.Have fun
Ok, I think I misguided that question. What I'm asking is that what are the benefits of the OJ Box on 360 over PC.
I would have to agree as fun as OJB for 360 is I am quite sure the games on the PC must be awesome with a Keyboard & Mouse, especially Portal.
I have OJ for PC, amazing group of games, truly amazing. Portal is a masterpiece, a very short one, but still a masterpiece.
1. i Dunno 2. Orange Box is tight - portal is a sick game ...if u have it for the PC i dunno why u'd want to buy it for 360 - unlesss u jus got money to burn 3. u play online then grab the headset so u can tell the nerds on live to shut the fusk up and stop singin old 50cent songs ... if u have real friends (not friends w/avatars) grab an extra controller ... and the dopest games out In my opinion are Call of Duty 4, NBA 2K8, Ace Combat 6, Madden 2008, Halo 3 and Bioshock
I have the Half-Life series on both PC, and the consoles (HL1 for PS2, HL2 for Xbox, and Orange Box for 360) The only real advantage is using a controller over the keyboard and mouse. Other than that the PC version has great graphics and gameplay and is one of the only PC games that ever made me sit at that computer to play anything. But not being a PC gamer i can say the keyboard and mouse was quite tricky for me. But i did enjoy every minute of it. Other games i would consider: Shooters: Jericho, COD4, Rainbow Six Vegas, Medal Of Honor Airborne, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Bioshock Racing: Colin Mcrae Dirt, Forza2, Project Gotham 4 Fighting: Virtua Fighter 5 and DOA 4
Well, I'm assuming it's not really different from the PC version, and the only other difference is that you're playing online with XBox Live (I might renew my old account.). Thanks for the info Steimy. And thanks you guys, I'll check those out later.
