ok, i got my matrix mod chip,installed itm, did not work, so i filled in the 15 LPC holes with solder, and then modded again, it did not work, so i remove the mod chip and just do a dry run, and i keep getting the 3 reboot error. it turnes of 2 times and reboots. i dunno what the hell is going on, somepone please help me!
are you sure you flashed the matrix right before you put it in? it sounds like a bios issue if the chip isn't in there and it still reboots on you. if thast the case, do a search on flashing the TSOP or check xbox-scene for flashing the TSOP. not positive this is your problem, but it sounds like it.
are you sure you don't have any short cuts between the holes because this is a common problem. if the right holes are connected to eachother the acces to the xbox bios is blocked and diversed. so the bios is not acceble and the xbox will reboot trying to find the bios.
