    >> A few tools have been released to help you uncripple your HDD after ban, so you don't have to do it all manually.

    * FindSecData v0.4 (by boby2pc)
    I wrote little program to extract secdata.bin and filetable of NAND dump.
    It uses patch latest secdata.bin method (not delete method).
    Changelog:
    * v0.11 Fixed regional settings problem.
    * v0.2 support for 256 MB and 512 MB NANDs implemented.
    * v0.3 Different NAND controller support
    * v0.4
    - "ommit timestamp" parameter removed - this is now default
    - added parameter to show more recomendations
    - "recommandation" algoritm changed
    - support for gaps in filesystem table version

    * Secdata Scan v0.2 (by zouzzz)
    Secdata Scan is a small utility that will save you manually open your NAND dump to find the address to hex edit to restore the functionality of the hdd after a ban.
    Once you load your nand image in Secdata, it will show you the last secdata updated on your console and the real address of this bloc to use with with nandpro.

    * 360 HDFR v1.02 (by SoulHeaven) (French)
    360 Hard Disk Functinalities Restorer v1.02 will allow you to patch your nand automatically in order to restore the functionality to install games on your harddrive on a banned Xbox 360.
    Does the same as Secdata Scan but with more functionality:
    - Show you the real date of secdata update
    - Can generate a zero filled file from your nand image for nanpro
    - Can patch your nand for Cygnos v2
    Note: does not work on 256/512MB NANDs yet.
    Official Site: by SoulHeaven at gx-mod.com
    Download: here

    1. Extract with NandPro (click to download)
    2. Run secdata.bin through 360 HDFR v1.03
    3. Flash fixed secdata.bin with NandPro

    So does this require any special tools to do? Any soldering? Cause I don't solder so something without doing that would be best.

    I can see the whole new can of worms this is going to open up in the forums.

    Now, every single day, besides the usual "game reads as dvd", "how do I flash", and "will I get banned" threads we'll now have "how do I unban hdd", "is there a guide", and "did I fry my 360" threads.

    Our poor mods are going to be working overtime because noobs never bother to read or search.

    secdata scan is a must if your gonna try this it takes all the work out of hex editing your nand. just open the program load your nand and it figures out all the values for you. than just go and use nandpro to flash. excellent find by jpizzle come talk with us on http://www.stateofthesceneaddress.com/irc/ircconnect.html for more info

    Do you need to solder wires no matter what method of the 3 your going to use? Is there a way to do it without soldering? Thanks for your time.

    By the looks of it I think you need to solder, which I do not solder and the guy who modded my 360 doesn't know how to do this. If soldering wasn't needed i'd be doing this.

    i did it without knowing how to solder. I took my diagram to a TV repair guy, I told him i want u to solder here, here and here. Paid 5 bucks and got my XBOX uncrippled. The guy didnt know what the objective of soldering was. But he DID know how to solder points. Had he know what I was intending to do, he'd have charged me more for sure :p (I know im smart).

    That is pretty smart. So when your done uncrippling you just break off the solders after your done?

    Never try to just break off soldered parts. You could end up ripping off pads.

    Not to sure if theres a way to keep it hooked up without causing any interference with the system but if your able to keep it attached or make a jtag style port with it for later use it will be alot better then takin it to the comp guy for a resolder if needed

    just my 2 cents worth...lol
