    hello,

firstly, can you please tell me what the difference between the 2 are? perhaps some sort of visual comparison, preferably reasonable quality.

2ndly, what sort of hardware determines which can be used, the graphics card?

3rdly, does 64 bit support 32 bit applications?

4thly, in terms of gaming, is there a visual difference?

    thanks,

to the best of my knowledge. 64 bit seems faster and in most instances are but not really noticable to the eye. on 32 bit systerm only 3gb of ram will be readable or accessable as in 64 bit you can see even up to 8gb and more. a lot of programs does not have supported drivers for devices like a leadtek tv tuner card etc. and some of the games are still written in 32 bit which renders them unplayable.

so 32 bit isn't supported? and it's way better to get a 32 bit os than 64?

what about emulation, example n64, is there visual difference between 32 and 64, or is it that i no nothing about the two operating systems and am making wrong comparisons? :)
