Hi there, noob alert - 1st off.

I have a TS-H943 drive. I want to mod it, and have been reading up on forums here and there on how to do it. I do not have a floppy drive in my PC. I do have a usb jump drive however. I got a program called Ultimate Boot CD, which allows me to boot into Free Dos. I have been thinking of connecting my 360 via SATA cable to my sys, and using the Boot cd in the TS-H943 drive in order to boot into DOS, then flash it.

I am completely new to this, and am finding it rather difficult understanding exactly the process. I understand I need the mktflash software, but cant find that anywhere. I do have the Xtreme Firmware 4.1 however.

Bottom line - If anyone can basically take me step by step thru the process, I would greatly appreciate it. The tutorials I've read are fairly easy to understand, but there is just a few things I dont understand - booting from my usb key being one.
So if anyone can help, fantastic!

    Thank you

    **UPDATE***

I was able to make my usb jump drive a bootable one. Now I cant get it to boot up, because my m/b doesnt support USB as a bootable device. Is there anyway around that, or anything? I tried doing a bios update, but I'm fairly certain I have the latest version.
