360 game back up questions

    Simple question, my friend is modding my 360, now one question that still wonders around is that, will I still be able to install the burnt 360 copies to the HDD just like normal copies. I really wanna because I don't want my 360 to overheat by reading the disc all the time. My 360 is 3 1/2 years old. Please let me know whenever possible. Thank you very much in advance.
