So is it possible to backup games onto a hardrive yet (e.g. EvolutionX)? If not, is it ever gonna happen? It's taking a damn while...

With the 20Gig I'd bet on No. Since the games are around 7.35 GB, you could only store 1 on the hdd since Microsoft uses 7 Gig of the hdd for themselves.

no they would manage to find a way of sending them to the pc then shrinking then sending to the hdd. like ive said before all they need to do is unlock the first partition and find out whats inside, then they could even get a bigger hdd in.

you can connect a large HDD to your 360 via usb but right now they problem is that you need a dashboard mod and ther is nothing out but FW flashes. As soon as some one gets a homebrew out this will all change.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. How long do you reckon it will be before someone hacks it, so we can backup games to a harddrive (not the default 360 one)?

Nobody knows as soon as that 14 year old mad scientist writing code in his darkened bedroom figures it out, hopefully he wont have much homework so he can consintrate on the things that really matter like finishing his new homebrew app.
