So...I just got moved into a new apartment and a buddy of mine that lives upstairs is nice enough to let me share his wifi and not care. Well, i bought one of those belkin wireless gaming adapters and set it up and everything, right....but my laptop and xbox 360 can't both be connected to the internet? My PC in my bedroom stays connected but with the laptop it's either one or the other. Why is it doing this and what can i do to change it?
Could be a variety of things. Your buddy could have his router or gateway setup for the dhcp to only lease X number amounts of IP's. So you say your PC is always connected. And your laptop and 360 will connect but not at the same time?
my pc isnt always connected....it is randomly coinnected....but it can always connect when the 360 is on...but the laptop has trouble....sometime when it does...a window pops up saying "System Error" sayning there is a problem with an IP address issue on the network
well...i was able to get it to work...now i have a completely different poblem.....IT STOPPED! Now it shows my network adapter as disconnected whnever i hook up the bridge to it???? Now ow do I fix THAT!? It just stopped working!
