360 waves patcher "wave converter for all firmwares"

yes, the green screen was pretty weird, and I was relieved when it didn't lead me immediately to something more serious... thanks for the tips, I'll try everything I remember in order to eliminate the possibilities as to what's giving me those dirty disk issues so often.

 

first of all i wanna thank you for such a great program but now i have a problem. i patched modern warfare 2 to wave 3 and it works fine for me (i have ixtreme 1.6). now i patched the wave 4 iso file to wave 2 for a friend who has only ixtreme 1.4. when i wanna test the game on my xbox i only get the screen that i should insert the disc in a xbox 360.
is this normal for my firmware or have i done something wrong?

 

Its normal on 1.6+ a wave 2 wouldn't work but on anything lower a wave 2 would work so you have the only FW that wave 2 basically won't play on, tell your friend to test it on his 1.4 xbox.

Yes you would have to update the dash usually you get updates online or by the game itself but since you havent gone online and dont have the real game you have to get updates by going to the xbox website and downloading the latest dash update theres links to it on the first post of this thread, once you save it to a disc or to a usb drive the system asks to update itself automatically then your copied games will work. To chceck if you have the latest dash already go to system setting then console setting- youll see dash version, 2.0.8955.0 is the latest.

 

All 3 games work this way Modern warfare 2, left for dead 2 and Assasins creed 2 thanks to Sicdude for posting this awesome program But when the newst extreme firmware comes out it would be better to skip all the patching and boot disc swaps and just update the FW.

 

I have gotten updates at least twice from copies and i have never had my 360 online so i know you don't need an original copy to update.

But when i tried this patch voodoo stuff on GTS: EFLC, it would not update, so i just updated to 1.61 and threw in an unpatched version and it updated perfectly.

 

Thats because you remove the update when you patch an iso to a lower wave.

Yeah i know but the guy i replied too couldn't play the wave 4 games that have the latest updates Fall 8955 ON IT doesnt matter if its a copy you still get updated if the xbox can boot the game, and couldn't go online so he's stuck having to update via the website. If you Could get a wave 4 game to boot of course it updates the sytem automatically

 

Just an update. Got it to work fine with DBZ:RG though that game fails as a true dragonball z game.

 

I thought that game was horrible compared to the others.

 

hi. i have a problem on forza motorsport 3, i patched it , i burned it at 2x on a memorex DL, i played it and it ran nice. however, when i go to the 4th or 5th race, it stops on "Now Loading" or something and my game ends there... i tried several times and its always like that.. can u help me ? :s

Try a better quality media.

 

u recommend any brand ?
and memorex dvd's are bad ?

 

They aren't recomended as a media for 360 games, try Verbatim, Arita or Aone plus discs

 

most of my backup's are on memorex, just some are on verbatim and the memorex one's are nice.. just forza motorsport is a crap since it stops there..

got a question for u guys

Well i have a 1.5v ixtreme. After running abgx for PES2010, i then patched the game to wave2. Now here comes the question

Do i burn the .dvd file that was produced by abgx( even though it was created before the patching to wave 2?)

I tried to burn the .iso file and imgburn didnt allow me to do it. So what should i do?
