ok the 360 comes with a wireless controller and it uses a rechargable battery ok when it goes dead you wont be able to recharg it with out the adapter that costs 20$ inless someone can show me somewhere that says its just takes AA batterys dont think it does
It might be a good idea to buy one corded control as well then. That way you can always use it if you have to. Also, I was reading that the corded controls have vibration but I have not seen that listed for the cordless. Do the cordless not have vibration?
I think cordless is going to be cool, but I have a tiny apartment, so I am going to buy a corded control after a while then. Only problem is that I was reading how Microsoft is going to be collecting royalties on accessories now, not just games. So there is somehow encryption of id's on all "approved" accessories for the 360. But it said that that was only for connected assessories. I guess a company could produce 3d party cordless ones--but Microsoft would probably crack down on stores that sold them.
It may not. I am not familiar how the controllers are suppose dto get power. Batteries or built in power source that you recharge or both?
You've all been miss informed.. the wireless controler will run on double A's . The rechargable battery pack is a pack that you can use INSTED of the double A's and to charge this pack you use the cord included in the "pack" so you can play even when recharging!

i read in electronic gaming monthly that it uses double A's and you can charge while you play but i read on the web at a 360 site that you have to buy the charger and all of that mess. i need some clarification here
You can charge the rechargable package using the cord while playing, or if you dont have the rechargable battery, you will have to use 2 AA batteries-can not be recharged.
im not trying to disagree with anyone but if it doesnt say the recharger comes with either the core or premium package, do you have to buy it separtly for sure? or is it included but just not listed on the package?
It's not included the wireless controller take 2 AA's and u can buy a chargeable battery and charge kit seprate but u need 2 aas
