I'm glad we have your OK now.

And the first idea came from another immature little boy on another website, trying to get more regular's.

It sounds like he took a few PS3 updates and mixed in a few PSP references. If were talking about dreams for the next firmware then let Dark Alex know that a PS2 emulator would be amazing.

PS2 emulator would be like having a gold rim to my mediocre coffee mug.

With the size of memory sticks now we could definitely have the space but unfortunately our cpu would burn out. And you thought running a SNES emulator runs hot, I can just imagine trying to use a PS2 emulator. What someone needs to create is a program to compress the game and it's requirements for resource.

if we all look at it, its unpredictable what can happen in updates. when 2.00 came out, that was a big update!

Oh come on guys feel pity on the kid.
    Enough bets.
Let the kid do his stuff.
See if 4.50 is gonna come out with the features he listed.
Plus if i had an uncle that Works for Sony,
i think i'll do the same as PSP3000w did.

EDIT: Crap...have to wait till next Sunday.==

We could, but we'd be waiting a few months for 4.50, unlike last week as he suggested :p

I just have doubts that anyone he knows works for Sony... there are far too many attention seekers out there.

    Couldn't agree more than that.:p
    Well, everyone wants attention right?
    Anyway...let's wait for 4.50.
The features are most true for me.
But i have a feeling it won't be released that fast.

PLus: JAPAN doesn't even have Skype yet.

EDIT: Hmm maybe 4.50 could be like 3.60?
Only for Slim owners? Catch what i mean?

Well, 4.50 could work on phats and slims, but the phat would have features cut out do to RAM size.

After seeing the graphics power of Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, I think that Sony has some options available to them when it comes to video playback.

Well, if Sony is going to try to impress us, they'll need some kick-ass must-have software.

PS3 on-the-fly. Make the PSP a display/controller for whatever PS3 game you stick in the PS3! Sure, itll be in SD, but come on man, it's a PS3 in your pocket. Granted, there will be some limited controls, since theres no L2/R2, L3/R3, or second nub, but you could improvise, like if you press L then R, thats R2, and R then L is L2 or something like that. Not sure if its even possible on 802.11b wifi, but apart from data exchange speed and worse textures, this could be realistic. Maybe put PS2 games in the same boat too, for the 80 GB version, and you got a diehard feature.

Theoretically that could happen, it would just be an audio/visual signal with a return signal of button commands, no computing power required, with the video at, say, 2mbps (considering the PSP is about half SD, it would be a very good picture), done. Though the control schemes would be totally impractical for lots of games, so much so there would be no point in trying.
