I have an iso that's 4.66 megs in size and Nero complains it's too big to burn. I believe I can over ride the warning by changing the settings in Nero, but will it burn ok? Will I need a dual layer to make this work or does burning an .iso cause it to decompress or something? Stemin
4.66 megs.. WRONG.. 4.66 gigs I think you mean .. a standard dvd holds 4.37, so that makes sense. Must be for a dual layer disk. you might be able to make it smaller, depending what it is.
Yes, sorry, gigs. Brain Fart. I just don't know how burning from an iso works. I know in the past I've used compression software to fit dual layer sized movies onto a regular dvd, but if iso's are meant to expand when burned, and I use compression on it, what in the world would that do? I suppose if I just try it, I'm just out a dvd, but I hate to throw them away. Stemin
Use DvdShrink- if it's in ISO form on your computer, click on open disc image or mount in a virtual drive and open disc. Shrink as usual.
