I am fairly new to the dvd burning scene I can copy dvd's if they are 4.7 gb or under fine. My problem is burning the larger ones.
Now i have heard mentioned the use of compression. Could anyone help PLEASE !
I am using a $300.00 memorex all in 1 burner and using DVD+R 's to burn. PLEASE e-mail me at rattlesnake1@cox-internet.com if you can help ! THANK YOU !

DVD decrypter and Instant Copy. It condenses the the dvd so the quality won't be as good as on the movie. But it fits it all on the one disc. I used accur disks I got 25 with amaray cases for 30 bucks and they all work great.

I answered my own question ifo edit was the key,
I deleted all other files except my vob files and used ifo edit to create new ifo files . It worked perfect, I ripped the movie but without the menu.

OK, lol next question ? I took one of my movies and ripped it with smart ripper, then used Merge Deluxw v1.0 to merge my vob files together (note only 2 merged together at a time) I didn't merge all of them together instead i opened tempeg an for video and audio source i set it to all files and grabbed my merged files one at a time and converted them to mpeg2 WITH ACTUAL DVD QUALITY ! (NO LOSS) ......................OK MY QUESTION ARE THERE ANY TOOLS AVAILABLE TO COMPRESS MY FINAL MERGED MOVIE.MPEG ? IT IS STILL ABOUT 4 GIGABYTES. MY GOAL IS TO MAKE ABOUT 5-10 COMPRESSED MPEGS AND MAKE A MENU AND BURN IT TO DVD+R USING AHEAD NERO ! ANYONE WHO CAN HELP , IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED ! I AM ALSO WILLING TO SHARE ANY AQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF DVD BURNING ! SO FAR TEMPEG IS THE BEST VOB TO MPEG2 CONVERSION TOOL I HAVE FOUND !
