Running 32 bit Windows 7 4 Gb memory installed and only reading 3.25 Gb What is the easiest way to get my OS to read & use the full 4 gigs of memory. Without coverting to 64 bit of course. Thanks for keeping it simple
Surely ther is a fix. I've came across some website that claim there is. Anyone know the best way and best site?
moved to correct forum due to blindness as not a digital video software issue. a member should know better.
I saw this workaround for Vista, not sure if it's relevant to Win 7: http://www.webtlk.com/2008/06/04/enable-more-than-4-gb-of-ram-in-32-bit-windows-vista/
if its a laptop it may be dedicated so much ram to the video so if its 4 gbs and about 768 of dedicated memory you would get about 3.25gbs of ram
