i put qoob pro modchip in the gamecule work good.and now i have a problem to back up game.please anybody help me how to set up cable from pc to gamecube and how to step by step to burn the game,i use 1.2 bios,i hook up the usb cable from gamecube to pc.my pc didn't see any info from gamecube,please tell me how to do.

That sticky is a mess and contains outdated methods. It's easier to just link people to modthatcube instead of saying "read the sticky." What we need to have is an updated sticky that can't be posted in so it doesn't become so unorganized again.
Well, first of all. DO NOT CONNECT USB CABLE BETWEEN GAMECUBE AND PC WITH GAMECUBE ON. You flash the qoob bios with the gamecube powered off. The USB cable is only for flashing the qoob. To backup ur game you will need a ethernet crossover cable and a program such as GCOS flashed to the qoob chip.

no it's called get off your cheap ****** and purchase games or don't own the console im really getting tired of people asking here how do i backup a game how do i burn the disk to make illegal software i hope nintendo tracks your ip address as you illegally download gamecube games and gives you a 30 year sentence for piracy

Insert the disc you wish to backup in the GC, and press A. GCOM will now display the game banner and title in the information bar at the top of the screen. 5. get somewhere GNU wget 1.8.2 6. use it with "wget http://192.168.1.32/backup.iso" without quotes in command prompt. 7. i havent ever backed up a game, but i presume that u have to go then to http://192.168.1.32/backup.iso 8. burn the backup then with recommended speed and burn-proof off. 9. done ---- What's with this thread's name? name has disappeared:O
