    the idea for ZUNE is only recent i think, so the guy or lady or group who came up with the idea for Zune may not have thought of it untill now, or maybe Microsoft did not think that the iPod will be so big and didnt bother setting up copmetition, or maybe they werent ready to go into battle with the giants.
