   I have the xcopy platinum w/ripper. My burner , burns up to 8x. But when I try to burn a 8x blank dvd,it doesn't work right. I've been told that my dvd burner program doesn't know to burn faster than 4x (which is my xcopy program). If this is true , is there a patch for the platinum so it can burn a 8x dvd blank ?

   No patch. XCopy was actually designed for 2.4x, but will work at 4x.
