Hi I have a ton of 25 min .ogm video files that I'am using WinAVI to convert to DVD. I want to burn them to 4.7gb DVD-R. So for 30 episodes of a show would take about 8. So my question is if the companies can put 8 episodes on one DVD why can't I? Can I compress these VOB files but not lose quality realy? Or is that how it is? Thanks, TIm
After the Open File Window appears, the Next Window allows you to select the output format (towards the bottom). Select DVD, then click the Advanced button. The next window has several settings. The one your interested in is the Output Setting on the top left hand side. Select Constant Video Quality then select the desired size.
You may be able to fit all those videos on a single DVD-5. However, I would consider a DVD-DL for this task. Compressing more then 180 Minutes of video on a DVD-5 is not suggested. Remember, a AVI ~ DVIX file has been compressed initially.
