Is 52 the read speed? and 32 the rewrite speed? and 52 the regular read speed? I had a buddy over last night that said the 32 only relates to cd/rw disks and has nothing to do with a cdr disk burn just lookin for a really good explanation of this I would really appreciate it. THanks Mr. Bill
52x The speed it Burns to a CD. 32x the speed it Burns to a CDRW. 52x the speed it reads data from a CD. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]I don't know what I am doing.[/small]
Where'd you get the 32X CDRWs? You got me I just found out what the 32 stands for and i don't use cd/rw's anyway but i have used a few dvd/rw's for family pictures.
Here you go 32x CD-RWs from Verbatim: http://www.pcmall.com/pcmall/shop/d...pcmall&source=pwbgugl&adcampaign=email,pwbgug
Hmmm I see what you mean! They appear to be rare as hell. None of the shops in the UK seem to sell them. 32x CD/RW Burners are all over the place - but you only seem to get 24x CD/RW disks free with those. I haven't come across them.
