I believe the 30gb 5g iPod is $299 & the 60gb is $399. You are unlikely to get any variation on those prices in any retail stores. I'd say your chances of getting a working 60gb 5g iPod are slim. You are best off looking at a 30gb from a cheaper internet store like [bold]amazon[/bold] or [bold]newegg.com[/bold].

Or you can always take the risk of eBay and bid you're maximum amount and see what happens. ;-)

i get 30gb ipod for 250 and 60gb ipod for 350 because i works at compusa.

i can't wait til get my hands on the new creative 30gb vision m which is arriving pretty soon to your local retail store. the video playtime on the creative is 4hr lol compare to ipod 2hr very pitiful.

If you are working around a budget, why are you purchasing an iPod? You could easily get a PMP/MP3 player for £150, but you will not get an iPod video at that price -- it's just too ambitious. Why not take a look at another similar product at a more reasonable price, for example the Archos Gmini 402. If you have a look at the following link, you can get them for as little as £159.99.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...80662/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_0_1/202-5307425-2823054

It is indeed. I have heard many positive words about Archos products -- in particluar this one. Though I have never used this partaiclar model personally, I have had a couple of Archos' early mp3 players. After using them, I have to say, Archos do make extemely reliable products, and my personal experiences with them have been a lot happier than with Apple's iPod, which seems to give me a new headache everyday of the week! :~)
