Hi all.. it is a 6101 ROGERS LOCKED in Canada (toronto) the IEMI is: 356642005258248 the code WITHOUT the sim that I have tried and failed is: #pw+177454203506550+1# and #pw+748360671605260+7# and #pw+ 75 83 60 67 16 05 26 0 +7# so i think I only have ONE LAST try.... if the last one fails, can I take it somewhere to get unlocked still? and will the phone be usable still if the last one fails? and if it is not usable after the 4th try, can I get it reflashed and how much does that run about? thanks for any help guys!!
hey.. .I tried that code as my last code.... (check the original post above) and it failed. I did it with the SIM OUT Should I do it with the SIM in? and it will be my 4TH try... I think that will LOCKUP the phone then...
Sim out and please note that some of the 6101's will continue to show "phone restrictions on" because of a version bug and dating issue. We haven't figured it out yet. It might unlock and it might not.
just tried it with SIM out, it failed, but it is still letting me enter ANOTHER code... should I try with SIM in?
i popped in the sim, and it is still locked... is there ANY other way to unlock? I am fido, so it is kind of a must.
You can enter 50 codes in that phone and it's not going to unlock. It will continue to show "phone restrictions on" with every code. I'm sure the date of manufacture on that phone is between 9/05 and 12/05 It will take a DCT 4 clip directly connected to the phone and it will unlock that way unless you can exchange the phone for another and it will unlock on the first try. I do about 30 to 60 of these daily and 90% unlock with no problem. You have that 10% that don't.
Last option I have and then you can insert the original sim and enter the codes I have given you. #pw+759870671605260+7#
ok, nolimit tx for everything... I will track down an unlocker to do it then. btw: can i keep trying codes? or will the f up the phone. I know some phones like MOTOROLA only give u 4-6 tries and FULLY lockup then. btw: how much do I expect to pay??
You can be like the Energizer bunny on that phone and keep going, keep going, keep going and you'll never hardlock it. 6102's work the same way and have the same problem.
