I have a 6600GT 256MB Grafics card but my computer only see's it as 128MB is there some way two change a setting on my computer so it uses the rest of the RAM on the card?
You sure that you dont have one of those turbocache cards? 128 would be on the card and it "steals" the other 128from your computers RAM. Yeah it may make graphics a little better but you are stealing resources from the rest of your machine.
Well it does look like it stealing any Ram. I've got 1GB or Ram all up and in system properties it says 1GB of Ram so it not stealing any.
Ahh it would be using it. But its not physichlly stealing it. Its there just not being used by your system. Just your graphics card!
Is there a setting on your bios that maybe limits the amount of memor available. I know on my mother board, it lets me choose the speed of my AGP port and maximum memory size. I have an abit kv7
No it doesn't but 3D Mark says this about the card.
