i am using 790mb disc and i am burning file 701mb and up to but not higher then 790mb and nero tells me that i don't have enough room on the disc when i know i do. what do i need to do?
Check your drive compatibility, here -> http://www.blank-cd-cdr.com/90-99.html your drive might not be supported or you may need a firmware update, also don't rule out bad media.
here is what you need to do: 1. check if your driver supports overburning : in Nero go to "recorder", then "choose recorder", and in the "overburn" line see that it says supported. 2. go to "file" "preferences". now, i don't remember how long is a 790m disc, but if it 90min than in "general" change the "red marker" to 90:00:00. then go to the "expert features" box and check the "enable overburn..." and again write the 90:00:00. 3. when you start burning it will immediately stop and tell messege you that there is a disc error and ask you if you wish to overburn. click OK and you're done.
looks like i spook to fast, no go. i checked the drives, and both do support over burn. and went into preferences and set what i had to but still says i don't have the room on the dics. p.s sorry about speeking to soon. i just thought that had to be it, but i was wrong.
