So, i just recently bought a IHAS 424B Disc Drive So i could install burner max and burn games better, this drive comes with Lightscribe enabled So i was wanting to use it. but upon research for 8.5 lightscribe disc I found Verbatim had discontinued there Lightscribe disc, And i cant find any others, does anyone know of some disc i could use that would work?
In the long term, you're better off using inkjet printable discs. That way you can still buy Verbs, they're cheaper than LightScribe discs and the results look far better IMO: - I wrote a guide to disc printing here: - http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/step_by_step_disc_printing_guide-809917/
Besides the fact of infam0us being right. printable disks are the only way to go here. Lightscribe was a great thing back in the day but really no one makes the disks any more and they are pretty much not used.
i still think light scribe looks cool, but takes a extra 20 plus minutes to do it, not worth the wait, print the discs!
I use printable verbs too. After the image dries, I spray a very light, very thin coat of Krylon clear spray paint on them. It make them look super glossy, and better than the retail originals in my opinion.
I have been using Acoustica products for about ten years now.I print all my labels with the label maker.
