8% problem

    does anyone reckon they'll make a new firmware that will fix the eurovox max v boxes that have the 8% signal problem,if the 15/10/07 firmware works i'm sure they should be able to get a fix.

    no return to supplier box is broken it is a well known problem and tell them it is the 8% problem

    I had same problem but got mine working by Jtaging with Blue Box tsop,(apparently the driver for the tuner is better) and then flashed with new blue box firmware 10/04/2008. worked a treat! good luck.

    contact the seller ... if they refuse to take it back and refund then raise the issue with paypal. Goods are obviously not fit for it's intended purpose so you have a right to refund or new working unit. Personally, I'd get a refund and go elsewhere for a new box.
