please help, recently my ipod stalled while in a docking station. When i logged onto itunes to see how to fix it, it said the ipod was corrupt and to restore, I don't think the restore worked correctly as now when I plug in the ipod i get a red symbol of a circle with an x in it and itunes won't recognise that any device is plugged in.
when not connected to the computer the symbol says connect to itunes to restore..
is there anybody out there with a simple solution to this problem please :)

if you haven't done so, set the ipod to disk mode, hold the menu and center until the ipod powers off then imediately release the menu and hold play and center button until you see a check mark on the ipod screen then connect to the computer. and see if that takes care of the problem, if not then you will have to bring it to apple store.

Had a feeling I would have to bring it back to the shop.......
