8400gs HDMI output no AUDIO

    hi, i have the 8400gs connected to my pioneer 8g kuro via Hdmi cable, the output quality if brilliant, but, it doesn't seem to send no audio through.

    if i got to sound and audio device, then the audio tab, in playback options ethers no way to cahnge the audio through the hdmi. ive tried to change from the realtek controls but I've had no success.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Common problem will be the DVI to HDMI pinout, although the card will support audio through the HDMI, not all cables or converters will have the pins put through.
    If the option for HDMI audio is not there, its because the signal from the Kuro to the card is not getting through.
    I had the same problem today with my 4850 connecting to a Kuro 5090, as soon as I swapped the all in one cable for the ATI adaptor and seperate HDMI lead, the problem was solved.
