I downloaded a movie from the net and its to big to fit on my disc, can i resole this. Thanx in advance
Whoa... hold on here... Maybe he downloaded it legally (i.e., from a pay website). It's doubtful, but possible I suppose. NOW THEN if he said something like, "I want to make a back-up of an original movie (that I already own) for my kids to use and scratch-up to hell. The only problem is, the original movie's too big to fit on a single layer DVD-R..." WELL THEN... then... maybe we could help him. @misters... it might not be a bad idea to read the forum rules! ;-)
i thought they had changed the rules....??? and we are allowed to talk about downloaded material???? its not illegal, and he doesnt say what it was anyways the only exception being we cant post links for pirate material use dvd shrink before burning
First and formost, it was from a paid site. I am not really sure how to use DvD shrink when its a movie from the net, i have an idea when making back up copies of my disk at home but not really sure how to do it from a file. Thanx in advance
If it is an AVI file you will have to convert, you can use DivXToDVD it is free program http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_divxtodvd_guide.cfm Then use Shrink to encode and whatever program you use to burn. If it is VideoTS folder open with Shrink, encode and burn.
I'm not in the mood to talk about forum members who download P I R A T E D movies! If you have a problem with that talk to my boss! The movie industry losses 3 million dollars due to P I R A C Y! Thread closed!
Shoey, As much as I hate piracy, the forum rules have been changed. Discussion is allowed, even linking to sites that may have pirated material. Only thing you cannot do is link directly to the pirated material. also, nice to see ya back. Nephilim always said good things about you
