thanks for the info, your'e the second poster thats says that nero does not burn dreamcast games :( and that was my last disc aswell, i can't get anymore discs for quite a while, so i can't burn any more dreamcast games right now. and that program you mentioned, do you have to enter complicated stuff to convert it or can you just push 1 button and its done? i hope so. also can anyone tell me how to burn MSF (i think they were MSF) dreamcast files? i got some of those and burned it with disc juggler but the disc would not load. what program do you use to burn these type of files?

I can't tell you anything about discjuggler because it never worked for me. Wasn't compatible with my dvd drives i guess. Which gave it a thumbs down vote from me right away. The reason i'd say Alcohol is the tool for Dreamcast games is because, A. It burns cdi (and almost any other file), flawlesly. And B. the dreamcast images that ive come across that DONT burn right (i.e. nrg,bin files) have ALWAYS worked for me after i mounted them on Alcohols image drive, then made an image of that with Alcohol. I've never needed any other tools to do it. I know you don't want to download anything else but if you dont want to keep burning coasters then try alcohol.

well you know how you feel about discjuggler? well thats how i feel about alcohol, when i installed that nasty program, it decided to mess with my system files, and also decided that it didn't like my current settings, so you know what it did? it decided to put a extra 2 drives on my computer which don't exsist, you can't remove them either until you uninstall alcohol. the program was crap, becasue there was no option to turn these virtual drives off, with this happening i could not burn anything with my cd burner.

and i have never encountered any program that messed with your drives, programs like that you have to avoid at all costs, so now you know why i hate it and give it 2 thumbs down?

hey just becasue [bold]you[/bold] say it's a quality program, dosn't mean it's a quality program for all people. i just had a very horrid experience with it so i'm not going to use it in future. and yes it was a virtual drive.

Actually you're the first person that i've ever heard complain about this program. Which is what sparked my attention. If you don't choose to use it i really don't care. I was just curious as to how it messed up your system.

You actually CAN uninstall the virtual drive from the options in alcohol. But i hear you HUYI, sorry if i made you mad man, it would piss me off too if i didn't know what it was doing with my drives. But anyway, you take it easy, and i hope you figure out the problem.

I avoid using Alcohol. I mean, it has some nice features which I use once in a while.

HUYI, I'm glad to hear you got it to work. I don't know too much when it comes to CUE/BIN, to tell you the truth, I avoid those too.

But if you were able to make a cue for the BIN, then that's great, burn it and try it. If it doesn't autoboot use a Utopia bootdisc.

I'll tell you what, though, JUST so that you can use DiscJuggler or Alcohol to burn an ISO makes it more than worthwhile to learn to use the DOS arguments for that converter.
