i recently softmodded my xbox i am able to get on xbox live when i boot the xbox with the original copy of a game in i was wondering if microsoft can detect that im playing on a softmoddedd xbox and ban me when i boot from an original copy of a disk. like on halo2 are there any modes i cannot play in anymore? Also if i get banned from live rather than finding a new unbanned eeprom could i just hotswap to make the dash back to original condition and become unbanned????
well if youve already signed in and you werent banned within 6 hours then no, you wont be banned, unless you put halo 2 mods on.and what are you on about a NEW eeprom, they usually just ban your gamertag, then if you mod again itll be your ip address, then credit card then house number, and so on....i dont understand a lot about eeprom's side of things but i thought they ban your consoles id and the hard drive number etc.
