    Despite my searching, I am having a hard time gettgin a solid definition of a few common and basic terms.

    Can somone point me to a glossery or give me a few definitions?

    When do you use each of these:

    PAL vs. NTSC: ?

    Mpeg 1 vs. Mpeg 2: ?
