I wasn't aware that a history of violence was out yet. Same with good night and good luck. How did you buy them.

i work in a video store, and when the owner orders the movies for the store, i ask him to get me some, (the bad part of this is that i have to pay more for them, since i am getting them a week early)

How many times must the same questions be asked.

I really do appreciate it when members post the new movies that come out and what was needed to back them. I just can't stand it when other members ask "How did you get it if it doesn't come out until x?" It is odd that someone in Region 1, especially in a big state like CA, would sell these movies this early, but from store to store, new releases are sold on dates different from the advertised dates. Owners of private video stores, major retail chains, even members of the press receive movies/books long before anyone else.

But back on topic, llugo, you didn't try Shrink at all? Most people would wanna see the results of that since it's free. I'm assuming no AnyDVD, as well?

Was History of Violence loaded? Meaning, what was the compression rate, if you did an entire backup?

    Thanks.

If he was able to use Nero Recode 2 than Shrink should have no problem with it. This is all assuming he wasn't using AnyDvd.

I really like these threads since we can find out in advance about new movies. However if you are going to start a thread like this PLEASE state weather AnyDvd is running in the background. There have been too many posts where someone says no special encryption just used DvdDecryptor and Shrink or DvdDecryptor and CloneDvd and they don't let you know they have AnyDvd running in the background.

    Glueeater'
To clarify, i was not refering to the movies he said he bought. Rather, I was refering to DVDD program, which is free. The comment was actally meant for another poster, who said DVDShrink was free. I wanted all to know that DVDD is also free. Hope that clears things up.
