just finished backing up A History of Violence i did not have anyproblem with the sound like the other person had took out oll the other stuff and the size was 3.926 and took me 29 min 7 sec from encoding to burning and i burn at 4x good movie i used shrink and dvd region + css free running in the backround and of course nero to burn
just did this one using Shrink alone, though i didn't know there was a thread re a sound problem so i'll check that before i burn it, cheers
For region 1, you do not need anydvd running, as there is no extra protection on this dvd. I did it with shrink and nero only.
please, pardon the slip of my n00bisms, but I let AnyDVD run ALL the time. I'm not sure if this is bad but it works for me =)
With certain programs (like the ones that do the same job as it) it is, but the world isn't going to end if you forget to disable it when using one of those programs. There have been times I ripped a movie with DVDFab and still had AnyDVD running (I probably forgot to disable it). Alas, the computer didn't explode lol. Otherwise, yeah, it's always running
I was so looking forwarding to this film and honestly, Ed harris did a great job. William Hurt though, was oscar worthy IMO. Viggo is suffering from the same malady that afflicts Orlando. big cases of "Cantactis"
say garmoon did you not read what the movie was about before you bought it? i know i would not buy a movie that i had no idea what it was about or at least seen some trailers about the movie, there were some people who burnt the movie and they had no sound, myself i had a good converson and the movie was a little off as story but i like blood and guts good story line also, you might just sell the movie to a pawn shop and at least get some of your money back, good luck with your movies in the future, next time look in to the movie first before you buy!
@rdmercer1 Yea I read about the movie. but it was like pseudo said" Viggo, cantactitis" I think he was miscast in that part.Just my 2 cents.
Having problems with "A History..." Did a search for the audio problem thread pertaining to this movie but could not find it. The audio is about 2 seconds ahead of the action... trying to get this on a psp or ipod video... have used slysoft's Clone2 & Mobile to no avail, Videora's programs, Shrink, nothing has worked...? Any suggestions? Don't have Nero, don't want to buy anymore programs...
