    hi gang

ok a few weeks ago i got in my spam box"free scan".not wanting it i hit delete and despite this it started to scan.then spysweeper and avast
blocked it..then when i did a full sweep with spy sweeper i got the
following virus or malware result...mal/hckpk-e and now i got mal/hckpk
-a...my computer seems to be a bit slower...then when i ran avast i got
a new item...win32 troj-gen in the avast window.how do i fix this issue
whats the best way to delete that "free scan" from my spam box and avoid
    this type of problem?thanks.

First I would get rid of the spam in your spam inbox. That way when you get the infection taken care of you don't risk re-infecting yourself... When you get rid of that e-mail, then you can rescan with your antivirus and get rid of it. Trojans are sometimes hard to get rid of and your antivirus probably will not work effectively with getting rid of a trojan; I might be wrong though. I would run spybot seach and destroy, and ad-aware (not to be confused with adware, which IS malware in general). Adaware offers a free version that does everything except real-time protection. Make sure you click on the free version. They will want you to buy it but you still get all the features you're gonna need. Try that and we'll see how it turns out...
