A newbie needing help

    So I have been looking all over for help on this one and can't figure it out. I want to put songs from my computer to my xbox but I do believe that it will not read the cd-rs that I have. As of this moment I have a cable hooked between my laptop and my xbox but now I have no idea what to do.

    Most xbox es can read just about any cd-r. Give it a shot!!

    Actually for some reason a few months ago I bought a used copy of Xbox Music Mixer and with a crossover cable and a quick 1.88 meg download of a pc tools program from xbox.com I was able to transfer all the songs I wanted. But thanks....

    Actually, most Xboxs with Samsung drives can read CD-R. Thompson can only read CD-RW (just barely), and Philips has varied results.

    my samsung always had trouble with cd-r but no prob with RW.
