So yesterday I installed the new Noctua NH-D14 but after the installation my computer didn't work anymore. It starts but reboots maybe every 3 or 4 seconds. During the installation I also changed my GPU from x8 PCI to x16 and took some wires off but did connect them after.

Today I took BIOS battery off, didn't work. I reinstalled the GPU, didn't work. I tried to run the computer without RAMs and GPU, didn't work. I also tried to run it with the old processor cooler but still nothing.

Any idea how to solve the problem and what was the thing I did wrong?

    Cheers.

apparently what you need to do is apply thermal paste, then *securely* fasten the hsf back into the holes or whatever. if it gets too hot it probably will shut off like that.

Okay, I haven't been updating this since but I solved the problem. When I removed the old processor cooler the processor was so tightly stuck with the cooler that it came off at the same time. Later I realized that couple of pins were warped. I tried to wring them straight but one came off during the operation. So I finally had to buy a new processor and now it's working.
