A question about the Xbox HDD

I was just wondering does the xbox take a normal Hard drive like the one thats in my PC?

 

yes the hd is very similar to a pc hd...if you are looking at replacing the hd, the only way to replace a hd is to mod the xbox.

 

Thanks for the reply and yeah my xbox is modded i suppose what i really should have asked was can i buy a ordinary Hard Drive say in the local electronics shop and fit it myself in the xbox?

 

yeah, you can just pick one up at your local shop

if you are in the U.S. www.newegg.com has great deals on hd's, just make sure you get a ide hd.
