A Simple question

    Hi I wanted it to know if it was ok for me to get like any new hdd put it on my pc and just copy the xboxdash.xbe file ( in the c:/ of course) and just copy the E:/ and all of those files and after i copyied them to my hdd and put it in my xbox will it work???

    why not just put the hd into the xbox and do everything through ftp or autoinstaller? why do people always want to do everything in the pc and then move it to the xbox? makes absolutely zero sense.

    just put the hd in the xbox format it, and install what you want through ftp.

    you are using a hd that is not compatable with xbox. Use western digital or Maxtor.

    16 - dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error)

    Pretty much that the bios can't find the dash that it's supossed to boot to....might just have to rename a file.

    try booting with a bootdisc, from there you can ftp and inspect the files that are on your hd.

    Where can i get this '' Bootdisk'' I am a softmodder too ( i hope thats ok)

    well since you went with the piece of shit softmod, you are prolly gonna have to follow the hotswap tutorial that punx77 posted in the software forum...what the hell is up with all the retards who fusk up their softmods?

    and here I am with my four year+ old tsop that hasn't had a lick of trouble......but I sympathize with all who have troubles don't get me wrong.
