A simple Xbox to PC connection question.

    Sorry for my spelling.

    Ok I sep up my PC so that I can connect to my Xbox to access the HDD, however anytime I try to find it useing my FTP programe, it says the connection times out or that it wasent responding, I'm only useing an Ethernet cable but I heard that You NEED a Crossover cable.
    If so, is that all I need? Or am I doing something els wrong?

    you will need a cross over cable. Or u can use a router.

    Also, im assuming u already got a dashboard. then yes, just get urself a cable
