Ok i dled some videos off this 1 site and then i opened up nero to try to copy them on a disc and nero did the whole transcoding process then it asked me to insert a blank dvd and when i did the whole nero thing disappeared....it didn't give me an error or anything just the nero icon near my clock disappeared and when i reopened nero i had to do the whole transcoding process again....so i said fine...i did it again and this time inserted a different blank disc and the samething happened again....now i'm trying it again with different videos.....what could be causing this?

when a program closes suddenly it means that it's unstable and Windows did that automatically. Usually when this happens Windows has an error screen saying this and gives you an option to report the error or not! I suggest that you don't add the disk when it says... put the blank disk in before you open up Nero, then start your program. By the way, is this a legit Nero? how long have you been using this program? Sometimes pirated programs act this way. If this is a pirated Nero then don't even complain about it here.
