hello I have a problem[a big problem] with my dvd-rw matshita uj-8415 at my toshiba satellite m40.All my problems started when i first reinstalled xp. Here I saw lot of error but at diferrent users.my dvd havet it all{not on the same time} sometimes make dvd+_ but cd never! here are a few example of error: unrecoverable read error unspecified target error could not create end of disc at once and other I only made 50 media with the dvd rw i do not thing that it's broke so if there is someone who knows what to do plssssssssssss tell me
Quickly, it might be you have a software conflict or a media problem. Do a search on your computer for a file called NeroHistory and post it here. It is a text file and you can edit it before posting, so make sure you take out your serial number (may be several). Also, try to include only the last few entries, which you will see on the bottom. If you look at the entire file, you can tell where the log of each burn attempt starts and stops.
